Deacon’s route to becoming one of the country’s premier SEO and financial experts is an interesting one. Shortly after he was married in 2008, he looked through his own finances to find himself $52,000 in debt. After spending 18 months reading and learning everything he could about financial planning, he became completely debt free minus his mortgage—and decided to dedicate his life and business to helping others accomplish the same.

In early 2013 Deacon quit his day job to start his own business, which has today has been successful past his wildest dreams. Well, Kept Pocket have been featured in a variety of publications including Yahoo Finance, US News & World Report, and CNN Money, and has developed a strong reputation nationwide for offering sound financial advice to those who may not have the resources to get out of debt on their own. In his spare time, Deacon enjoys meeting with people from all walks of life, both in classes and at public speaking engagements, to help them achieve their financial goals.
